Rebecca creates her monotypes with a spontaneous & experimental approach, building up numerous hand printed layers with a variety of print techniques and mediums.

As the Monoprint, Screenprint & Linoprint elements are added, the artwork becomes increasingly abstract and the unexpected detail, texture and subtle variations that appear, mean that each image is impossible to replicate.

Therefore each artwork is an individual Monotype or ‘One-off’ -  its complexity and character shaped from the unique mix of elements used in its creation.
